Prima Poker is not a single poker room but rather a network of poker rooms that operate using the same basic software (there are minor differences to the look of the individual poker rooms). All of its poker rooms share game tables across the network and because of this sharing of tables there is a base of active real money players online at any time of day. Microgaming, a software company, owns the Prima Poker network. This group has developed a lot of software used on many traditional online casino sites, and as a result many Prima Poker licensees also operate an online casino and have added a poker room to their operation as a service to their patrons. While it is true that players of all skill levels use the network the Prima Poker rooms tend to have less experienced poker patrons than other poker rooms. The tournament offerings at a Prima Poker site can be a little intimidating when first viewed due to number of and variations of games offered. However, players who just take a little time will soon find that they are able to find the game and the variation they are looking for.
The Prima Poker software plays better than the average software available.
